Terms of Use
These Terms set forth the basic standards for using the Korea Haiku Federation website, including membership registration, submission of works, bulletin board use, monthly selection, journals, events, and donations.

Article 1. Purpose
These Terms are intended to define the conditions and procedures for using the website and related online services operated by the Korea Haiku Federation, as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of members and the Federation.
Article 2. Definitions
- “Website” means the online space operated by the Korea Haiku Federation.
- “Member” means a user who agrees to these Terms and completes membership registration.
- “Post” means writings, haiku works, comments, images, materials, and other content registered by a member on the website.
- “Donation” means a voluntary payment made to support the literary activities, education, archives, international exchange, and website operation of the Korea Haiku Federation.
Article 3. Posting and Amendment of the Terms
The Korea Haiku Federation posts these Terms on the website so that users can easily review them. When necessary, the Terms may be amended in accordance with applicable laws and operational policies, and any changes will be announced through website notices or this page.
Article 4. Membership Registration and Account Management
Members must register based on accurate information and are responsible for managing their account information. If a member uses another person’s information without authorization or enters false information, use of the service may be restricted.
- Members must safely manage their IDs and passwords.
- If account theft or a security incident is suspected, the member must immediately notify the Federation.
- The Federation may restrict the use of accounts confirmed to involve fraudulent registration, impersonation, or malicious use.
Article 5. Services Provided
The Korea Haiku Federation may provide the following services.
- Registration, publication, and archive management of haiku works
- Monthly Korea Haiku selection, voting, and publication of candidate works
- Operation of journals, notices, events, lectures, and resource rooms
- Newsletters and information on Federation activities
- Voluntary donation payments and confirmation of donation history
Article 6. Obligations of Members
Members must not engage in the following acts when using the website.
- Using or misappropriating another person’s personal information, account, or work without authorization
- Infringing the rights of others, including copyrights, personality rights, and portrait rights
- Posting false information, defamation, hate speech, obscene content, or advertising content
- Interfering with the normal operation of the website or causing security risks
- Abusing the service through automated programs, hacking, or unauthorized collection
Article 7. Posts and Copyright
In principle, the copyright of works and posts registered by members belongs to the respective authors. However, by registering posts on the website, members are deemed to have permitted the Korea Haiku Federation to display, store, and transmit such posts within the scope of website operation, introduction, archiving, review, and non-profit promotion.
If the Korea Haiku Federation uses such content for additional purposes, including separate publication, paid content, or provision to external media, it will consult separately with the author within the necessary scope.
Article 8. Management of Posts
The Federation may hide, delete, move, or restrict access to posts falling under any of the following categories without prior notice.
- Content that violates laws, regulations, or public order and morals
- Content that infringes the rights of others or damages their reputation
- Advertising, repetitive, or malicious posts unrelated to the purpose of operation
- Other cases necessary for website operation and member protection
Article 9. Donation Payments
Donation payments on the website are voluntary donations for the literary activities, education, archives, international exchange, and website operation of the Korea Haiku Federation. These donations are not product sales and are not eligible for donation receipts or income tax deductions unless separately announced by the Korea Haiku Federation.

Article 10. Changes and Suspension of Services
The Federation may change or temporarily suspend all or part of the service when necessary for operation, system inspection, security measures, natural disasters, or equivalent reasons. When possible, advance notice will be provided through the website.
Article 11. Limitation of Liability
The Korea Haiku Federation is not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for service disruptions caused by reasons attributable to members, for the reliability of information posted by members, or for disputes arising between members or between a member and a third party.
