01

Purpose of Malmaru

Preserving the historical genealogy of official names and concepts.

The terminology and concepts formed through the development of Korea Haiku are literary and intellectual assets established through sustained creative, scholarly, and educational practice. Malmaru records the background of each proposal, its first use, petition and review process, official proclamation, and revision history.

Works produced before an official proclamation are also linked as first-use and related materials, preserving a continuous genealogy of research and creation.
