The Korea Haiku World Youth Festival officially judges and awards works by youth and young adults. The festival also welcomes general visitors through the Festival Lounge for reading, support, celebration, and literary exchange with writers around the world.
Capture seasons, senses, and moments of life in brief language.
Young writers from different language communities meet through haiku.
Selected works and activities will be archived and shared globally.
Poems, season words, history, global haiku, and writing for young people—one thoughtful reading at a time.
Participation is not closed to adults; the path simply differs by age. Youth and young adults enter the official competition, while general visitors join through the Festival Lounge.
Youth submit through a school, institution, or group representative and are eligible for official judging and awards.
Young adults may submit individually or as a group and are eligible for official judging and awards.
General visitors are not judged or awarded, but may freely post messages and Guest Haiku and join the Festival Lounge exchange programs.
Application, review, announcement, and exchange programs will proceed in sequence.
Submit works and basic information online.
Judges evaluate works using blind codes.
Selected works and results will be announced on the official page.
Detailed dates may be adjusted according to operations.
