Korea Haiku Professional Course


1. Purpose

This course is an advanced program designed to develop professional competence in the field of Korea Haiku.
By comprehensively and multidimensionally studying the theory, history, analysis, criticism, and creative techniques of Korea Haiku, participants will deepen their understanding of the meaning and value of works. The course also aims to cultivate sound creative practice and multifaceted critical abilities through connections with various literary genres.


2. Educational Objectives

This course has the following three major educational objectives.

1) Strengthening Professional Expertise in Korea Haiku

□ To promote an advanced understanding of the history, form, structure, and techniques of Korea Haiku.
□ To improve the ability to analyze and interpret Korea Haiku works from multiple and multidimensional perspectives.

2) Strengthening Creative Ability and Creativity

□ To strengthen creative ability through the use of various forms and techniques of Korea Haiku.
□ To encourage the creation of Korea Haiku works that contain new perspectives and meanings.

3) Strengthening Critical Thinking and Literary Sensibility

□ To enhance appreciation skills through the analysis and criticism of Korea Haiku works.
□ To cultivate a deeper understanding and interpretation of the meaning and value of works based on literary sensibility.
□ To explore the possibilities of Korea Haiku by connecting it multidimensionally with other literary genres.


3. Course Contents

A. Theory of Korea Haiku Creation II
B. Theory of Korea Haiku Appreciation II
C. Grammar of Korea Haiku II
D. Psychology of Korea Haiku II


4. Course Operation Policy

This course consists of 8 weeks, with 2 hours of instruction per week, for a total of 16 hours.
Participants must attend at least 80% of the total classes in order to complete the course.

※ Classes are held once a week for 2 hours and are conducted in two sessions.
