A Fair Three-Stage Blind Review

Each entry is separated from identifying information such as the author’s name, country, and affiliation, and is reviewed in three stages using a blind code.

Official judging period November 1–30, 2026

Blind codes are generated and works are assigned after submissions close.

STAGE 01

Stage 1 · Eligibility and Preliminary Review

Eligibility, submission format, number of works, compliance with the rules, and the basic completeness of each entry are checked.

Judging the work itself

Personal information is kept separate from the judging materials so that factors unrelated to the work do not affect the evaluation.

Scope of disclosure

To protect fairness and independence, detailed scoring, individual scores, and judge-specific comments are not disclosed. Award titles and the number of recipients may be adjusted according to the volume and quality of submissions, and an award may remain unfilled when no suitable work is found.

Korea Haiku World Youth Festival 2026

In the 2026 Youth Festival, official judging and awards are limited to youth and young adults. General visitors may join Festival Lounge programs but are not included in the official competition.
